Interested in becoming a Diva?

Thank you for your interest in Sigma Gamma Sigma! We are excited to share that twice a year we host our official pledge line for women seeking true sisterhood, growth, and lifelong bonds. Pledging is a 3 week process where you will become a Diva-in-training and learn everything from the history, the bonding, and more of Sigma Gamma Sigma. Below will be details of how we do the whole recruitment process (application, interview/rush, official pledge)

Pledging FAQs

Fill Out an Application to Pledge SGS

  • All applicants must have an application on file before becoming an official prospect of Sigma Gamma Sigma.

​

  • Once you submit your application, you should hear a response within 48 hours.

​​

  • We have a prospect group, you will utilize this group to find out more on the pledge process and rush week.

​​

  • Applications are only held during the process. Once applications and interviews are closed, we won’t be holding or accepting new applications until the next line. We do 1 line per year.

Confirmation/Interview Process

  • The pledge committee will review all applications and will respond to those applied to set up an interview with the pledge committee and officers of SGS.

​​

  • When you book your interview please make sure you are available on that day you scheduled. If a conflict comes up ahead of the interview, contact the Head of Pledging or the Pledge Committee member that set up the interview within in 24 hours, unless it’s an emergency.

​​

  • We encourage all prospects to attend the Rush Week events that are held before pledging starts. You will get to get to know more about SGS and possibly get to know your future sisters!

Post Interview

  • Once you have finished your interview with the Pledge Committee, it will be reviewed and you will be notified if you are going to pledge or not.

  • You will receive an official SGS Pledge tag when accepted to pledge.
